Used as a spice in South Asian, Middle Eastern and European cuisines, Tropical Sun Black Onion Seeds boast a mildly peppery, bitter flavour with some of the pungency of onion, which is what gives them their name. Often dry roasted prior to cooking, they have a crunchy texture and are a common ingredient in everything from curries and stews to savoury muffins and flatbreads.
